Alex Lukachko is a building science consultant and climate change adaptation specialist, focusing on high-performance, low-carbon buildings across Canada and the U.S. He collaborates with architecture firms to transform their practices in response to the climate crisis and teaches energy, building science, and design integration at the University of Toronto. His research centers on future building enclosure systems and the design of sustainable, high-performance buildings, with a particular interest in the connection between architectural design and quality assurance.
