Francesca Joyce

Architect and sustainability Specialist 

Francesca is an Architect and advocate for positive change in the relationship between design and the environment. A Sustainability Specialist and a Certified Passive House Designer at MJMA Architecture & Design, she has contributed to some of the firm’s most ambitious and high-performing buildings. Francesca has a Bachelor of Architectural Science from Carleton University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Design in the Built Environment from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Before joining MJMA in 2018, she worked in studios in Toronto, Singapore, and Victoria, BC. Francesca is actively involved as a founding member of the Toronto Biobuild Collective, the Toronto Circularity Network and Architects Declare Canada.
